Does anybody know any good free or open source Clam alternative?

  niXar : @Jason: Anti-virus protect against viruses, not against "malicious code" as a whole. AVs can't do squat against worms, unpatched systems, default passwords, trojan horses and so on. They protect against viruses. Period. There is no virus *problem* on Linux (even though there has been POCs otherwise). It's a fact. The reason is simple: RPM/DEB. Antivirus have their vulnerabilities, and they have happened and been exploited much more often than viruses on Linux, which is why you should not install one if you don't need it.
